Terms & Conditions – Win a Trip to Iceland Sweepstakes
Eligibility: The Win a Trip to Iceland Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Icelandia and their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited by law.
Entry: To enter, subscribe to the Icelandia newsletter by entering your valid email address. Only one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
Prize: The winner will receive:
- A $1000 gift card for flights with Icelandair for two.
- A three-night stay in Reykjavík by Centerhotels.
- Complimentary transfer from the airport to the hotel.
- Golden Circle Tour and Northern Lights Tour (depending on season). No cash or other substitution of prizes is permitted, except at the sole discretion of Icelandia. Prizes are non-transferable.
- The prize must be redeemed with a travel date before December 31, 2024.
Selection and Notification: The winner will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified via email within five (5) business days of the drawing. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize within 15 days, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected.
General Terms: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants, by participating in this Sweepstakes, hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless, Icelandia, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, participation in this Sweepstakes, or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity.
Data Collection: Icelandia collects personal data from participants when they enter the Sweepstakes. Personal data will be used for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, selecting prize winners, and notifying the winners. By participating, entrants agree to the collection and use of their personal information for these purposes. Participants may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time; however, unsubscribing before the end of the Sweepstakes may disqualify your entry.
Miscellaneous: If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, any suspected evidence of tampering or technological corruption or if any portion of the contest is compromised by a virus, bugs, worms or unauthorized human intervention, an insufficient number of qualified Sweepstakes entries, or any other causes beyond Icelandia’s control which, in its sole opinion, corrupts, threatens, or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Icelandia reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes at its sole discretion.
